You don’t know what you don’t know

Read this: You don’t know what you don’t know. Now try reading slowly and understand what it means…

Exactly.

How the hell are you supposed to know what to do when you don’t know what to do?

This is a question I asked myself so many times over and over through my life (I still do). So if you are in the same boat as me, let’s grow together as we head to the next green bit of land.

The WTF state of mind

You’ve never been in that situation before, right? So how are you supposed to get out of it? Are you supposed to just be creative and imagine a way out?

YES and NO.

First, let’s visualise the whole situation or scene so we can be in the exact mood to understand it better afterwards.

You are watching from afar, being nosy with the story that is unfolding in front of you…

It brings the thrill, it gets your attention so badly as you want to know what is going to happen next.

You name them.

Shows like Super Nanny, YouTube real-life videos, FB stories, all these work fine for our entertainment.

We read or watch them all, we focus on every detail, and we learn by expanding our knowledge or create a new perception in our minds…

“Oh my god, I would never let it rise to the point I have to desperately call Super Nanny Jo”

Yet…

Why it’s so damn hard when it’s our own story??

Can’t we see it coming?

Again! Didn’t we learn from the first (or even second) time?

So many questions pointing back at us, no wonder we feel like a walking mess (or sometimes, a failure)…

The Breaking Point

I’m going to tell you now STOP.

Yes… STOP! (before our emotions become a rolling super snowball towards the lovely town called Inner balance)

Take a deep breath and ask yourself something: Are your emotions in the right place to decide and act upon things?

Are you in a happy or positive mode (or at least in a neutral state of emotions)?

Do you know that you will never get or create anything good from a place full of anger, anxiety, depression, desperation…?

Unless you learn that those emotions are energy that you can use to fuel your ambition and proactivity.

Staying in negativity or denial doesn’t do you any good.

Yet if you get those strong emotions to get out of the hole you think you are in, you will eventually get out.

Being proactive doesn’t just mean to be active, it means that you are acting upon what you believe in.

You take the reigns of your life and give direction towards achieving your goals and dreams.

Being proactive means doing what you know it’s right, and doubt is no longer an excuse.

I know you might be thinking “it’s not that easy Diosa”… And you are right.

The beauty is in the eyes of the beholder

Things that matter in life are not easy but that’s the beauty of it, and as I see it, if they were too easy we wouldn’t appreciate them enough.

Complicated and hard to get aren’t necessarily bad, we just need to pay more attention and work them differently.

Every person has their own idea and perception of what is complicated and hard, what works for some might not work for you.

And that’s why when you feel like you don’t know what else to do, even though you tried others’ methods, nothing works the way you want

You cannot do nor know what you don’t know already, right?

I asked you a question in the very beginning “Are you supposed to just be creative and imagine a way out?” and I was Yes and No.

You see, thinking out of the box, using creativity and imagining the best scenarios for you is actually a process that can be very helpful and even bring what you most desire.

Creation comes from IMAGINATION, but we need to be in a proper state emotionally and mindfully speaking in order to hold space for it.

That is the tricky part! And it all comes to when we are ready…

To Ask for help

Asking for help doesn’t mean you are weak, quite the contrary!

In a world that is full of scepticism, judgment, criticism, the last we want to be seen as is weak, right?

That’s why asking for help shows how courageous and committed you are!

We, mothers, are not perfect, and most of us weren’t really trained to know how  to deal with challenges we faith with Motherhood.

Each mother (and their families) are different too!

There’s no one answer/method/way to fit all!

Asking for proper help then is like an investment for your new lifestyle and family situation.

How about if you had someone that knows what you want to know yet will help you find the best way that suits better your lifestyle and is more in tune to your values?

Someone who will listen to you, pay attention to your needs and your desires and know when to nudge you when you oversee something important that could be crucial or key for what you want.

Someone with an open mind and with a lot of knowledge with parents and children yet mentally flexible enough to think in your best interest?

THE NEXT STEP

That would be awesome right? Knowing that whatever skills you earn from this new help will be perfectly used towards decisive situations that could be key in transforming your current situation…

Does all of these ring a bell in you?

If deep inside you are saying “Yeah, of course, I would love that!” then I invite you to come on a call with me to find out if I’m that person you are looking for.

I would really love to know your story and see how best I can help you (because I really care for moms like you!).

So if you are ready and feel this is the DAY that everything changes for the best, let me know! I’ll be here waiting for you…

With Light and Joy,

Diosa Ll.B.
